Income differentiation of households in various regions of the Czech Republic

The paper deals with income differentiation of households in different regions of the Czech Republic. Actual analysis are based on previous considerations about the origins and dynamics of income disparities in the Czech republic, about the method used to definethe group of respondents, the characteristics of a file with an emphasis on the income variable, the share of social transfers in disposable income, indicators of inequality and poverty assessment of vulnerable households. The primary data sourceare the survey results European Union – Statistics onIncome and Living Conditions in 2005 and 2008. This investigation has become obligatory for the Czech Republic after joining the European Union since 2005. The investigation provides long-term comparative data on income and social situation of households. According to common methodology applied within other EU countries results are compare even between EU member states. To achieve the objectives there will be used following methods: descriptive statistics on the characteristics of income (disposable income of households, the share of social transfers in household disposable income, net cash income of households, average income, revenue deficits). For monitoring the level of income inequality and deepness of poverty will be used Gini coefficient and Lorenz curve. Mentioned characteristics will be compared within the regions of the Czech Republic and the trend will be formulated for the period 2005 - 2008.Household income is one of the decisive factors determining the style of family life, their priorities, to meet their needs, and eisure-time activities. Efficiency of Hospitals in the Czech Republic

The paper estimates cost efficiency of 99 general hospitals in the Czech Republic during 2001-2008 using Stochastic Frontier Analysis. We estimate a baseline model and also a model accounting for various inefficiency determinants. Group-specific inefficiency is present even having taken care of a number of characteristics. We found that inefficiency increases with teaching status, more than 20,000 treated patients a year, not-for-profit status and a larger share of the elderly in the municipality. Inefficiency decreases with less than 10,000 patients treated a year, larger population, and more hospitals in the region.Efficiency, hospitals, stochastic frontier analysis

Moebius: An interface to web map services

Our article presents a concept of a geospatial search engine based on a Web Map Service (WMS) compliant virtual mapserver. This virtual mapserver is able to index mapservers based on the WMS standard and create an unified interface to all shared map layers. Our presented approach also allows to search the map layers within the virtual mapserver and process the results directly in GIS tools

Effect of pathogens on the vaginal microbiome

The human body is heavily populated with a wide variety of microorganisms. These microorganisms form coherent communities, which in contact with specific human organs form microbiomes. Each microbiome is unique in its composition. The study of microbiomes enables us to describe their composition and to understand the complex interactions that occur between microorganisms and humans. Methods of microbiome analysis are constantly evolving. For example, next-generation sequencing is currently the most widely used method for the characterization of microbiomes. Bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus are the major component of a healthy vaginal microbiome in most women. A healthy vaginal microbiome is essential for maintaining the natural homeostasis and to assure a proper functioning of the female urogenital tract. Lactobacillus is also important for the protection of the vagina from pathogenic agents such as viruses, bacteria, archaea and eukaryotes. In this bachelor's thesis the major pathogens of the Bacteria and the Eukaryota domain are described. Hereby a particular focus is on Trichomonas vaginalis, which is the most prevalent pathogenic agent of the female urogenital tract worldwide. Studying the immunity of the vaginal microbiome to this parasite is therefore essential. Furthermore, the mechanisms of...Lidské tělo je hojně osídleno nejrůznějšími mikroorganismy. Tyto mikroorganismy tvoří ucelená společenství, které v kontaktu s konkrétními lidskými orgány vytváří tzv. mikrobiomy. Každý mikrobiom je unikátní ve svém složení. Studium mikrobiomů napomáhá nejen odhalit jejich složení, ale i pochopit komplexní interakce, které vznikají mezi mikroorganismy a člověkem. Metody analýzy mikrobiomů se stále zlepšují. Ke studiu mikrobiomů se v současnosti nejvíce používá sekvenování nové generace, které například napomáhá identifikovat jednotlivé zástupce, kteří se v mikrobiomech vyskytují. Je již známo, že bakterie rodu Lactobacillus u většiny žen tvoří dominantní složku zdravého vaginálního mikrobiomu. Zdravý vaginální mikrobiom má nezastupitelný význam v udržování homeostáze a správného fungování urogenitálního traktu žen. Hraje také důležitou roli v jeho ochraně před patogenními agens. Mezi tyto patogenní agens patří viry, bakterie, archea a eukaryota. V rámci této bakalářské práce je vybráno několik zástupců z domén Bacteria a Eukaryota, kteří primárně napadají urogenitální trakt žen. Registration of Changes in the Cadastre by Deposit

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje specifické oblasti katastru nemovitostí – vkladovým řízením. První část práce je zaměřena na platné právní předpisy, týkající se samotných vkladových řízení, včetně právních předpisů souvisejících, a to zejména posouzení oprávnění vlastníků v nakládání s nemovitostmi, náležitostí vkladových listin a jiných příloh návrhu na vklad, které jsou potřebné ke zdárnému vzniku, změně či zániku práv v katastru. Dále je práce zaměřena na samotný proces ve vkladovém řízení – příjem podání, obesílání účastníků řízení, ověřování podpisů, typy vkladových listin, práva zapisovaná do katastru nemovitostí a nedostatky včetně jejich řešení, vyplývajícího ze správního řádu – zastavení, zamítnutí a přerušení řízení. Práce se věnuje vkladovým řízením, jejichž předmětem je nakládání s jednotkami a dále samotnému vlivu nového občanského zákoníku na tato řízení. The first part of the thesis is focused on valid law regulations concerning deposit procedures themselves, including related law regulations, especially assessment of owners' rights in real estate management, requisites of deposit documents and other annexes to the deposit proposal, which are necessary for successful establishment, change or termination of rights in the cadastre. Furthermore, the work focuses on the process in deposit proceedings – receipt of submissions, sending participants, verification of signatures, types of deposit documents, rights registered in the real estate cadastre and deficiencies, including their solutions, which are resulting from the administrative procedure code – cessation, rejection and suspension of proceedings. Cílem práce je provést analýzu vlivů, které působí na realitní trh a vytvořit prognózu jejich vývoje. V první části jsou popsány rozdělení a vývoj stavebnictví a realitního trhu. Část druhá spočívá ve vytvoření případové studie, kde jsou porovnány jednotlivé faktory nabídky a poptávky.The aim of this thesis is to analyze the influences acting on the real estate market and create their prognoses. The first part describes the distribution and development of the construction industry and real estate market. The second part involves the creation of case studies, which are compared to offer and demand individual factors.

Gender aspects of body image and body dissatisfaction in nonclinical population

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem body image a tělesné nespokojenosti u neklinické populace s akcentem na genderové aspekty. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část pojednává o pojmu body image jako o psychologickém konceptu, který je součástí sebepojetí člověka. Z toho důvodu je na začátku práce vymezeno celkové sebepojetí a rozdíl mezi skutečným a ideálním "Já". V teoretické části je dále kladen důraz na teoretické zakotvení pojmu. Podstatnou část tvoří kapitola vymezující faktory, které ovlivňují utváření tělesného sebepojetí a mají vliv na rozvoj a míru tělesné nespokojenosti. Není zde opomenut fakt, že současná západní společnost klade vysoké nároky na vzhled, které působí na muže i ženy. Práce dále rozvíjí možné důsledky této nespokojenosti v chování člověka, opět s ohledem na genderové odlišnosti. Není opomenuto téma sexuality, které se vztahem k vlastnímu tělu nepochybné souvisí. V závěru teoretické části jsou nastíněny některé možnosti měření body image a tělesné nespokojenosti. Empirická část mapuje průběh kvantitativní studie, která nese stejný název jako celá práce, tedy "Genderové aspekty Body image a nespokojenosti s vlastním tělem u neklinické populace". Ke sběru dat bylo použito několik metod, konkrétně Test siluety, The Multidimensional...This thesis deals with the topic of body image and bodily dissatisfaction with non-clinical population with a focus on gender aspects. It has two main parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part focuses on the term body image as a psychological concept that is a component of self-concept. For that reason, there is a definition of the overall self-concept and the difference between the real self and the ideal self. This part of the thesis stresses out the theoretical basis of the term. An important part is a chapter describing factors influencing a development of the bodily self-concept that influences the development and extent of bodily dissatisfaction. I talk about the current western society and its high standards on a physical appearance for both men and women. The thesis then deals with possible consequences of this dissatisfaction on human behavior, again with respect to the gender differences. The thesis also mentions human sexuality that is related to one's relationship with their own body. In the end of the theoretical part there are some possibilities for measuring body image and bodily dissatisfaction outlined. Autorka v této práci zkoumá uvedené tržní prostředí a jeho specifika, a to jak z hlediska makrookolí, tak následně i mikrookolí zvoleného podniku. Dále se autorka blíže věnuje charakteristice samotného podniku, kdy byly zjištěny jeho silné a slabé stránky a nalezena konkurenční výhoda. V práci jsou také identifikováni konkurenti Pivovaru Svijany a je analyzováno jeho postavení na daném trhu vzhledem k tržnímu podílu a také vzhledem k nákladům na jednotku produkce.
